 The single scull is the ultimate test of an individual's rowing technique and fitness;
in the single scull, there is nowhere to hide.

Qualities of a single scull (1x):

• There is only one person in the boat
• Its a scull boat

Advantages:

• Freedom
• No hindrance from others slacking off
• Accurate comparison of self to others
• Improve proficiency in all other boats

Disadvantages:

• Very easy to capsize
• Slowest of all boat types
• No coxswain, you are forced to check course
